Speaking to audiences from coast-to-coast, Jeff Flanders tells folks about working and loving it, achieving your dreams and developing a positive life attitude. His message is spiced with good-natured fun and homespun stories, garnered from 21 years in broadcasting, nearly two decades in law enforcement and over 15 years of professional speaking.

Upon graduation from high school, Jeff served in the United States Air Force, then returned to Columbia to begin his career in radio and television.  His broadcasting profession took him from disk jockey to corporate general manager for a group of radio stations.  Add law enforcement, singing and ventriloquism, and you have a unique combination of skills.

Jeff has a tall tale for every topic and is equally comfortable telling it to groups as diverse as bankers, secretaries, educators, parents, sales executives, and professional and civic associations.  He has also spoken to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.  He is in demand for state, regional, and national conferences.

He also features motivational themes for parents and staff development presentations for teachers and school administrators.  Because of his positive influence on children, Jeff was asked by two governors to serve on the South Carolina Governor’s Youth Council.  He also served on the Task Force "Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws" for the SC Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services and worked with many other projects in South Carolina, including SC Special Olympics, SC Department of Youth Services, Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, and “Focus on Youth Issues” Conference.

Jeff was twice nominated as statewide "South Carolina Law Enforcement Officer of the Year;" and was a candidate for the prestigious Strom Thurmond “Excellence In Law Enforcement” Award.  He is past president of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, with over 9,000 members, and a member of the South Carolina Sheriff’s Association.

Jeff Flanders is a patriotic American with a “southern sense” of humor.  He delights his audiences, leaving them thinking and laughing long after his, (and your), final bow.  The inspiring messages from him leaves no doubt that “one person can make a difference.”
